Once you've been using Dreamweaver for a while, you'll probably have found the Insert bar below the menus - it defaults to "Common" and shows you icons so that you can quickly add elements to your Web pages.
Dreamweaver divided this bar into logical sections, including Common, Layout, Text, and HTML. But if you're like me, chances are you use some of the things on "Common" all the time, and some of the things on "Text" and some of the things on "Layout". Switching between the different bars can be tedious - especially if you're doing something like adding a headline (on "Text") and then an image (on "Common") and repeating over and over.
Dreamweaver gives you lots of ways to make that type of job easier, but one of my favorites is the "Favorites" bar. In this bar you can put all the different tags, tools, and elements that you use all the time. You can include elements from all sorts of places including PHP or ASP calls, extensions, and special characters.
