How To Add a Dreamweaver Behavior

Dreamweaver behaviors are an easy way to add scripts and actions to your Web pages.

Time Required: 5 minutes

Here's How:

  1. Open an HTML page in Dreamweaver
  2. Open the Behaviors pane (Window > Behaviors or Shift-F4)
  3. Highlight the element you want to set an action on
  4. Click on the plus icon in the Behaviors pane
  5. Select the behavior you'd like to apply
  6. Some behaviors have additional options to apply
  7. Verify that the browser event attribute is the one you want to use
  8. Save your Web page
